DO NOT use Cooking Wine..!

Let me make this perfectly clear. Never, ever are you to use anything labeled Cooking Wine, Cooking Sherry, etc. in your kitchen. If you do, I will permanently ban you from the ranks of the Connoisseur!

OK, what we are looking at here is a sub-par, salt-laden product. Anytime you are cooking, whether it is from a recipe or just a personal creation, one of the keys to being a good cook is to use good ingredients. These items do not qualify as “good ingredients”. If a dish calls for wine, sherry, Madeira and the like, be sure to use a product that you would drink on its own.

Now repeat after me: “It is never time for Cooking Wine..!”
