Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong – World’s Tallest Hotel
If you have an aversion to heights, you may want to cease reading at this point.
Opening in December of this year, luxury hotelier The Ritz-Carlton is opening the world’s tallest hotel. Located in the International Commerce Centre in Hong Kong, this soaring property has its first floor (hold on to your chairs…) on the 102nd floor of the building and runs up to floor 118..!
Yes, you read that correctly!
All that height guarantees a spectacular view of Victoria Harbor and the surrounding bustle that is Hong Kong, while maintaining a level of detachment from the insanity at street level.
The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong will offer 312 guest rooms along with Grand Harbor Suites and of course the top-shelf Ritz-Carlton Suite. Other features include a lobby lounge, tea lounge, six restaurants including Chinese and Italian cuisines, and topping it all off – pun intended – a rooftop alfresco bar!
If the altitude makes you nervous, you can relax in the ESPA, which according to the Ritz folks will “redefine the urban spa experience”. Over 9,000 square feet of space the facility includes 9 deluxe treatment rooms and three couples suites, all with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows.
This is sure to be a one-of-a-kind experience with a bird’s eye view.
