Maestro Dobel Diamond Tequila

A quick glance at this bottle of tequila would suggest that a nice silver or blanco tequila resides within.

Not so much..!

In truth what we have here is a beguiling blend of reposado, añejo and extra-añejo tequilas.  The clarity is due to a proprietary fermentation process which removes the color and congeners from the spirit.  The process is the brainchild of one Juan-Domingo “Dobel” Beckmann, a sixth-generation tequila producer.

The end result is sheer tequila bliss!  The complexity of the finest aged spirits combined with a luxurious crispness.  Carefully balanced notes of smoked wood and earth are present along with hints of dried fruits, spice and a touch of honey to round out the palate. 

If you are in the market for a luxurious sipping tequila, this one deserves a try.
